CLIENT CARE SPECIALIST

Experience handling a wide range of administrative related tasks and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. They will thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the clinic.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s appointment calendar efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly, providing accurate information and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in processing payments and handling financial transactions.
  • Maintain client records and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care for each patient.
  • Educate clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and other relevant information to promote the health and well-being of their pets.
  • Uphold the highest standards of client service, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Client Care Supervisor and Practice Managers

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Compassion and empathy towards pets and their owners, with a genuine desire to provide exceptional care.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with veterinary management.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
